Id-Ul-Adha/Bakrid Holiday Leave Date Change in Andhra Pradesh From 24-9-2015 to 25-9-2015

In Andhra Pradesh (AP) State government announced that September 24, 2015 (Thursday) Bakrid Holiday was cancelled and September 25, 2015 (Friday) will be observed as holiday on the occasion of Bakrid. The notification change made under the Negotiable Instrument Act. The change was made after the request made by State Wakf Board as per moon sight change from 24-9-2015 to 25-9-2015. Similarly October 2, 2015 (Friday) Eid-E-Gadeer optional Holiday was cancelled and October 3, 2015 (Saturday) will be observed as optional Holiday.

All schools, universities, colleges, government offices, banks will be expected to closed on Eve of Bakrid (Id-Ul-Adha) Holiday 25-9-2015 (Friday)

Bakrid is celebrated in Qatar, Kuwait, Brunei Darussalam, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Turkey, Libya, Malaysia, Pakistan, India, Dubai, Afghanistan, China. The Bakrid festival celebration date in the world countries may also change. They need to wait for the official announcement from the respective countries.
