Chennai: Tamil Nadu Bandh Private Schools Holiday / leave on Sep 16, 2016: Tamil Nadu Nursery Primary Matriculation and CBSE (private) Schools Association General Secretary, KR Nandakumar said that all private schools will closed tomorrow.
In most of the schools quarterly exam scheduled on September 16, 2016 (Friday) postponed to September 17, 2016 (Saturday).
Tamilnadu State School education department director Kannapan said that they are waiting for the order from the government to declare a holiday or not. Tamilnadu Chief minister jayalalitha need to decide the matter. Because quarterly exam going on for SSLC (10th) Std and HSC (12th) standard students as well.

Tamilnadu Farmers Call for Bandh on September 16, 2016 to demand the government of Karnataka release the Cauvery water as per the Supreme Court judgment and to protect the Tamil peoples in Karnataka who were subjected to attack.
Farmers from delta districts Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam announced bandh in tamilnadu (TN) State on day after tomorrow – Sept 16th 2016 (Friday). The farmers formed a body called Cauvery Struggle Committee and they will take part in the protests include road blockade agitations, fast and rail blocking etc.,
Various political party in Tamilnadu including DMK, MDMK and DMDK will support the Bandh and DMDK Founder leader Vijayakanth announced said that DMDK caders will observe day long fast to revile the attacks, burning of Tamil Nadu buses, vehicles and their properties and the actor added that he demand the government to provide adequate protection. Fast would be held in front of DMDK party office located at Koyambedu (CMBT), Chennai.
Tamilnadu Petrol Bunk Association to support the Bandh. Tamil Nadu Petroleum Dealers Association President Murali said that all petrol bunk will be remaining closed from 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM.
It is expected that some buses, auto and taxi transportation will be stopped and companies, shops and hotels will also expected to remain closed. It will affect the school, college students. Till now there is no official announcement from the Tamil Nadu Vanigar Sankangalin Peravai about support and closing the shops.
