Tirumala Tirupati Radha Saptami 2016 is to be celebrated on Feb 14, 2016 – TTD RathaSapthami 2016 live schedule Surya Jayanthi

Rathasapthami will be observed in Tirumala Tirupati Temple on 14th February, 2016 (Sunday). Lord Balaji ride on seven celestial vahanams. It is also said to be One day Brahmotsavam/Arsha Brahmotsavam

Rathasapthami day starts with Suryaprabha Vahanam and concludes with Chandraprabha Vahanam. Several devotes will attend the events and worship the god.

What is Ratha Saptami?

Ratha Saptami or Rathasapthami /Magha Saptami is a Hindu festival that falls on the seventh day (Saptami) in the bright half (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu month Maagha. It marks the seventh day following the Sun’s northerly movement (Uttarayana) of vernal equinox starting from Capricorn (Makara).
